Conference and inauguration of the monument to Father Matteo Ricci and Xu Guangqi.
The news occurred in the International Meeting's open-day for the 400th anniversary of the Euclidean geometry's translation executed by Father Matteo Ricci and Xu Guangqi.
Guests were Luigi Ricci from Macerata (Italy) in representation of the ancient Ricci's family, Xu Cheng Xi in representation of the Xu's family of Shanghai and Paolo Sabbatini in representation of the Sabatino de Ursis family.
